Brian Byrne is a Golden Globe–nominated, Irish-born composer, conductor, producer and orchestrator whose work spans film, television and concert music. He collaborates internationally with filmmakers, artists and orchestras across the United States, Ireland and the UK, creating music from intimate chamber scores to large-scale orchestral productions.

Brian Byrne is a Golden Globe–nominated, Irish-born composer, conductor, producer, orchestrator and pianist whose work spans film, television and concert music. Since relocating to the United States in 2003, he has built an international career creating emotionally driven scores, songs and orchestral works for filmmakers, artists and orchestras across the United States, Ireland and the UK.

A two-time World Soundtrack Award winner, three-time IFTA Award winner and Satellite Award winner, Byrne received a Golden Globe nomination for the song "Lay Your Head Down," with lyrics by Glenn Close, from the Academy Award–nominated film Albert Nobbs. He also received a World Soundtrack Award nomination for "True Love Avenue," with lyrics by Kasey Jones, from Jenny's Wedding.

Byrne has composed the scores for twenty-four feature films and television productions, including Albert Nobbs, The Secret Scripture, Black 47, Jenny's Wedding, Modern Love, Hear My Voice and Ireland. His work also includes co-writing music for Netflix's The Residence, composing and orchestrating music for DreamWorks Animation's The Croods: A New Age and Sony Pictures Animation's Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, and conducting scoring sessions for Pixar's Academy Award–winning Piper and Amazon's Modern Love.

Beyond film, Byrne has established an international reputation as a conductor, arranger and producer. His American conducting debut came at Carnegie Hall with Irish tenor Ronan Tynan, after which he was commissioned to arrange and conduct the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for Tynan's debut solo album. He later released the critically acclaimed orchestral album Tales From the Walled City on Decca Records with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. From 2012 to 2018, Byrne served as Artist in Residence with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and has since conducted and recorded with leading orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, BBC Ulster Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra and Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

As a composer, producer, conductor and arranger, Byrne has collaborated with an extraordinary range of internationally acclaimed artists, including Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, Bono, Katy Perry, P!nk, Sarah McLachlan, Sinéad O'Connor, Van Morrison, Alanis Morissette, Kelly Clarkson, Kurt Elling, Vince Gill, Luis Miguel, Lisa Stansfield, Julian Lennon, The Corrs, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Glenn Close, Curtis Stigers, Veronica Swift and Celtic Woman.

Through Clusterchord Productions, Byrne continues to develop feature films, television projects, concert works and recordings, collaborating with filmmakers, artists and orchestras on both sides of the Atlantic.
